Welcome to the new All Fiber Arts website. I am in the process of moving my website to a new server. The main reasons for this move are rising website cost and website speed. In comparison, on the old server, page load speed averages are between 5 and 8 seconds. On this new server, the download speeds are averaging about .2 – .5 seconds. I am hopeful that this server will provide better performance.
Unfortunately, just after I started to move the files to this server – the old server (based in the US) – had a major crash last week and was down for a few days (not sure what happened..) but on recovery, many of my files and images were lost. I have some old versions in backups but not sure how much I can recover. I will continue to add new projects, patterns, etc about weaving, spinning, natural dyes, nalbinding and other textile crafts as I continue to learn and explore more of these wonderful made by hand crafts.
